What grinds my gears

I've been a member of Xbox Live since December of 2004, when I got an Xbox, Halo 2, Burnout 3 and and XBL headset, having said that I can start my blog. Ever since I first played my first online match I've had pet peeves about the people I play against online and it's finally gotten to the point that I feel that I need to make a list so here goes.

1)people who position their mics to close to either their mouths or noses and it sounds like your playing against Darth Vader.

2)People who sing or just chat inanely....nuff said.

3)People who carry on conversations with other people who aren't in the game and don't mute their mic. This is probably the most annoying thing I've ever encountered on Live, please people I don't pay $50 a year to hear you talk to whoever about what you're going to eat or where you're going to go to hang out later.

4)People who continually call me a ni%%er after a match....seriously I know XBL makes peoples voices a bit lower but I'm as white as can be.

5)This ones a tie between girls who flirt there way through matches and people who don't know jack about the game they are playing. Girls I need not explain as we've went over this before, but people who play who don't know anything is a new topic for us. If you're new that's fine but at least play through the SP first or read the manual that comes with the game or better yet ask a buddy over Live.

Well that's all I can think of for now I may add more if I think of some, feel free to add your own to this list if you please.

I have to go along with the "internet gangsters" that pretty much sums up the last few post about people trying to be hard. That and people getting pissed off just because you owned them in a match. I remember when I played R6V, the first one, it took me a while to get decent on it but I was picking people off 1 by 1 without getting killed and everyone was claiming that I was glitching it somehow.....

, and on another topic real quick...I hosted a radio morning show around my area and we ran a segment called "Grinds My Gears " and we had the sound clip of Peter from family guy saying it, and we would discuss things that irk us and have people call and tell us stuff too

I'll play with people I don't know, but I just won't talk and I have them muted from the family settings. If I know I'll be playing with a friend of a friend or someone from here I'll turn that off though.

ive never played shadowrun so i wouldnt know

im actually talking about those incestual EA Sports achievements. theyre games are repetitive and the achievements are (roughly, with some tweaks occasionally) pretty much the same..

I'll add one. 12 year old kids with squeaky voices who enter a room and just start swearing out of nowhere cause they think it's cool, and they make themselves a target to every jerk off in the lobby and get flamed! It makes me so sad to hear people picking on little kids, I guess because I have a little boy, and it just sucks these kids are bringing it on themselves.

I can't believe the mouths on some of the kids on XBL....I had an eight or nine year old call me the "N" word on COD4 the one day. I replied,"I'll come to your house and kick you in the ass so hard your nose will bleed." He left shortly after that.....

You had better not play CoD4 with me then, everytime I get a chopper I say that....ok maybe not everytime but still I love saying it. @regi - yea. yours isnt too high. its about my pitch, maybe a tad higher. like on a scale of like 1-10, you and me are like 5/6's (as in it isnt high, but it also isnt deep)

I think that's only annoying in Team Games where you have to work together. Like RB6V or GOW. COD4 and Halo 3 are much more independent.
