Okay, I normally don't rant like this, but I feel I must. The last couple of games I played today of the COD4 beta I come across some of the biggest jerks ever.
In one of the games I have only one friend with me and I get up the courage to talk. Big mistake. I'm told by some immature ass to 'come back when my balls drop' apparently unable to tell the difference between a prepubescent boy's voice and a girl's voice. I reply 'That's kind of impossible considering I'm a GIRL." Then I mute the guy.
Another of the games I end up getting 31 kills and about 13 deaths. I'm shocked by this, I was the highest-scoring player in the game, from both sides. Well, someone decides to be a prick and says 'you effing cheater. Cheater, cheater, cheater. Go glitch somewhere else' or something along those lines. I think the highest kill count on the other team was 13. I respond 'I'm not cheating, I'm just good.' and I tell my friend 'they're just sore cause they got pwned by a girl'. Oh and did I mention there was another girl on my team who also got flak from the idiots and was told to 'go play with your barbie dolls."
Well...there's my little experience with the scum on Xbox LIVE. I reported the people who were being complete asses, though I doubt it will do anything. Just wanted to get it all off my chest.

Yeah, I had to use the backspace a lot to keep myself from using the f-bomb and such.
I know how you feel, I am not a girl but one of my friends from school plays halo with me almost nightly and she is a girl. And I must say I feel sorry for you guys, there are some very immature people on xbox live.
Many times we will play double team in halo and it is not uncommon to hear something like "your playing halo with a girl its time to get a real double team partner, send your friend to play with her dolls or some thing"
Wow I really just wish there was some kind of anti-immature filter on xbox live.
Well normally I don't let things get to me, but when they end up on my team and I'm actually better than they are, then things get sticky. They start insulting me and jeering at me, throwing off my concentration, and I'm too far into it to mute people.
Face it, males don't like getting beat by females. Don't even get offended, I don't anymore, I get an attitude with the person but why get all bitter and complain when you know it happens. All I'm saying is, it's not rare for a guy to say "girls aren't supposed to play video games, they belong in the kitchen."
It's just male ego!
Xbox live is full of jerks. Its sad but true. Doesn't matter if you're a guy or a girl, you're going to run into them. I'm sure you girls run into it constantly as opposed to us guys, but really, who cares what they say. Truth is that MS made a big mistake when they gave every 13 year old a microphone and a free-speech forum. Mute them or ignore them. Theres plenty of other people on XBL who are worth talking to, its just a shame that we are far outnumbered by immature jerk-offs
Well like I said, it's not necessarily what the say, it's the fact that they're making comments like that. Obviously being 18 or older does not mean you're mature, and that makes me disappointed in the human race. Grow up or shut up.

Well House and meg a destr0yer first of I would like to say I am sorry that you ladies had to be subjected to the idiotic pre-prepubescent behavior of the many many immature "boys" out there on Xbox live. The problem is as Meg stated: some boys and men do not like to get beat by females. They feel as if they are being upstaged in some way because society has been telling them for years that men are better than women. This goes double in the video game world.
Well I think some of the best gamers are female, in fact I play with about 10 females that are on my buddy list all the time. 3 of which can hand me my ass and then some in GOW.
Don't let them get to you, they will one day realize that they will never amount to anything and that their bosses when they grow up will probably all be women telling them again what to do
It's really sad when guys say you cheat when you do better than them.

Yeah, I mean it's not my fault they were walking right in front of me and I had an RPD and I just sprayed the living crap out of them. =/ I don't even know how to glitch/cheat.

Hell I didn't know you can glitch on a beta!! Just keep pumping shots into them till they don't move anymore
People have apparently been finding glitches. Some guy went through the wall on top of the third story building in Crash.
One thing about Beta is finding the Glitches.. Report the glitch so its not in the final game. Or they will update the 360 if you report it. If your kicken ass and taken names so be it...Give'em a bad review if they talk crap.They get enough they will not be matched with you. Or go in there with others from here and 'Wolf Pack' Them.
For those who don't know what wolf pack is, everyone in the room gangs up on that on person till they quit. Even if there on there team. That's the benifits about having friends
Sorry to hear this. Reasons like those make me hate live. I can't stand playing on there with all the bad language, racial remarks, and trash talking. What happened to just having a good time?
And, it is sad that since they got beat by a good a$$ girl they felt you must be cheating. Truly sad! Way to kick their a$$es though

some people on xbox live are way to immature. i mean i was in one room that these 2 guys would always teabag this one girl when they down her because she was a girl. and she was kickin the crap outta them. i mean seriously some people shouldnt play on xbox live if there afraid to get owned by a girl.
The only things that annoy me on Live are A) People who always scream (usually little kids) and B) People who call everyone else the n word.
That is what a community like ours is for. Find some friends and hook up to frag each other in peace! lol

and i remember that certain people got pwned by a 9 yo girl. that was hillarious. and i was the one of the only people who didnt in that match. so remember that.
Thats what the private chat is for cause me and another guy were in private chat making comments after watching comedy central and we knew if we werent in private chat we would have been hounded by the youngins and or kicked. So I usually just leave the head set plugged in and off my head so I dont here the immaturaty of young kids.

i get some comments like that too because of my voice.the mics kinda make it high pitch, prolly cause of prepubescentness or something. so i get all the odd comments about my gamertag and my voice. people ask if im 9 or a girl. it mainly happened on cod4, so just own them the whole round and then in the lobby im like "howd that feel, getting ownt by a 13 year old" and o its hilarious because they get so mad. i just tell myself "they must be pretty pathetic insulting people over the internet/live" because alot of the comments i say, i have said irl lol
some people are just irritable, especially those people who think their all tough. just do what i do, find out where they are, stalk them down, and murder them the whole match. they get so mad their comments are hilarious.
