In the newest weekly update at bungie.net Bungie have released the news that the newest Halo 3 map Cold Storage a.k.a. Chill Out in Halo 1 will be a free download along with free gamerpics and a free theme come July 7th also aptly named Bungie Day. Along with these goodies Microsoft is cutting the price of the Legedary Map Pack from 800 points to 600, although if you take this offer you won't get the free Bungie Pro package that others got.

Well ZuDaddy, Bungie has said very often that they have no plans to release the Legendary map pack for free, although many believe that when the next map pack codenamed mythic is released the Legendary pack will become free but it is not known for sure what will happen. Also Bungie Pro is when you get an upgrade from the normal 6 slots and 25mb limit to 24 slots and 250mb limit so if you download the map pack on the 7th you won't get the free Bungie Pro Package. |

well, idk about you guys. but wouldnt you think it would have been a smart idea for the gamerpics/tiles and theme to be downloaded ON bungie day, instead of like the day or two before? i went to the XBLMP and saw them, and i downloaded them. youd think that releasing them on 7/7 (many reasons why this day was chosen  ) wouldve been a better ideaanyways, i will most def be getting the CS map, seems like itll be good. but i wish more maps had the flamethrower, i hate construct >_< |
